The Lyon County Sheriff's Office and the Lyon Circuit Court Clerk share the same West Dale Avenue records hub in Eddyville, but they are separate custodians. The sheriff handles sheriff-created reports. The clerk handles filed Circuit and District Court cases. LCSO open-records requests may be mailed, faxed to 270-388-2397, or delivered by hand. The Lyon Judicial Center clerk counter is the local source for certified or official case-file copies. Neither office should be asked for a record created solely by the other.
